Bone Marrow on Toast

8 marrow bones, sawed into 2-3" long sections
Flour
Water
Cloth
Toast slices
Chives, chopped
Salt & pepper

Mix a small amount of flour and water to make a stiff dough. Cover each bone end with the dough. Wrap each bone in cloth and tie closed. Place bones in a kettle of boiling water, and allow to boil for one hour. When bones are done, remove cloth and dough. Slip marrow out from bones, and spread on toast. Sprinkle with chives. Salt and pepper to taste, and serve while still warm. Serves 4.
